Product Update: Clearer Exchange Deposit Address Attribution
FreezeRadar can now identify likely exchange deposit addresses when their observed outgoing activity sweeps to a labelled exchange hot wallet.
Product Update: Clearer Exchange Deposit Address Attribution
Wallet activity often reaches an exchange through a unique deposit address, rather than directly through the exchange’s public hot wallet. That can make a useful counterparty look like an unexplained address.
FreezeRadar now recognizes a narrow version of that pattern: when a meaningful direct counterparty sends at least 90% of its observed outgoing activity to a labelled exchange hot wallet, we show the counterparty as, for example, Binance (deposit address).
What this means for you
The attribution is clearly marked as inferred, carries lower confidence than a direct label, and is stored for future scans. We do not add an extra provider lookup for this feature; it reuses the targeted activity already reviewed during a standard scan.
This is contextual risk intelligence, not proof of account ownership or a legal conclusion. A reputable exchange attribution follows the existing reputation treatment, while a high-risk exchange attribution remains a risk signal.
