Product Update: Released Wallets No Longer Score as Critical

If an issuer froze a wallet and later released it, FreezeRadar used to keep scoring that wallet as critical forever. The old freeze was still on record, and nothing in the score reflected that the restriction had been lifted. After the wave of releases earlier this year, that meant some perfectly usable addresses looked as bad as actively blocked ones.

We've fixed it. When you scan a wallet, we now ask the issuer's contract directly whether the address is blocked right now. That answer wins over anything in our event history, so a released wallet gets an accurate score instead of a permanent red flag.

Past freezes don't just disappear, though. A wallet that was frozen and then released still carries a moderate risk note, because that history is worth knowing about. And if the issuer destroyed the balance before releasing the address, that stays visible too.

If we can't reach the issuer contract during a scan, we fall back to our own records and lower the confidence score rather than guessing.
