Dusting / Address Poisoning

The wallet has received several tiny transfers from distinct counterparties — a pattern used to pollute address history or impersonate a trusted address in a future transfer.

Why it matters

This flags something happening to the wallet, not something the wallet is doing — useful context so the owner doesn't mistake dust for real activity or get tricked by a poisoned lookalike address later.

How we detect it

Count distinct counterparties sending very small-value transfers to the wallet.

Example evidence

Multiple near-zero-value transfers from different sending addresses.
